Dr. Marcus Englert
…holds a Ph.D. from CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory. He began his career as a consultant with the The Boston Consulting Group in Munich. In 1998, Englert was appointed Managing Director of ProSieben Digital Media in Munich. He held various positions at the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG and predecessor organizations. From 2006 to 2010, Dr. Englert was Member of the Management Board of the European broadcasting group with responsibilities New Media and Diversification. From 2010, Dr. Marcus Englert is Associate Partner of Solon Management Consulting and General Partner of Atlantic Capital Partners, an investment fund focused on media and technology.
Dr. Jochen Gutbrod
…was CFO and Head of Digital Media of Holtzbrinck from 2003 to 2009, and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board from 2007-2009. As Head of Digital Media, he carried out such investments as e.g., Parship, myphotobook, MyHammer, StudiVZ, Brands4friends, Citydeal and Zalando. Prior to joining Holtzbrinck, Dr. Gutbrod held in leadership positions at Schroder Investment Management Ltd. and Lombard Odier & Cie. Dr. Gutbrod is a serial entrepreneur, co-founding among others iFund Service AG in Switzerland, which provides services to Banks. Today, Dr. Gutbrod is the CEO of Raffay Group and an active angel investor.

His practice areas are international corporate, M&A and technology transactions as well as dispute resolution. He is also the chairman of the boards of two privately held technology-based companies and member of the advisory board of a biotech company.
Prof. Dr. Katja Nettesheim
…is Founder and Managing Director of _MEDIATE, a strategic business consultancy focused on the media industry. _MEDIATE is based in Berlin and has advised several leading European media groups on structuring innovative business models. In addition, she teaches strategic management and business model innovation at mhmk Macromedia Hochschule für Medien und Kommunikation, a vocational media university. Before _MEDIATE, Prof. Dr. Nettesheim worked at Axel Springer AG, leading several corporate M&A deals and cross-unit projects for the publisher’s regional newspapers. Previous to Axel Springer, Prof. Dr. Nettesheim worked for The Boston Consulting Group. She started her career as a lawyer in an international law firm.
